IT Project Specialist

You can make a real impact in a market that is growing and developing.   This is a virtual / remote position.   Job responsibilities: Manages multiple client-based projects Works with project/program owners or clients to craft business & functional requirements and refine user stories Works with cross-functional teams within IT and the business "Hands on" project management including performing testing and implementation tasks Develops and leads key projects in support of internal and client facing IT initiatives Manages key milestones of projects Directs internal and external project team members Provides overall direction on project progress Accountability for meeting timeline targets as set forth by management or client Works with operations leadership to address support transition Manages client and vendor relationships and provides escalation path for clients Works closely with business and product management team Interfaces with key cross-functional departments. Such as; Infrastructure, Development, Product Management, Quality Control, Database Management Defines project goals and objectives Performs root-cause analysis on issues, research and design short term and long-term solutions Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding assigned projects to appropriate managers and stakeholders. Serves as "subject matter expert" to business stakeholder during the project discovery phase Consults throughout the project phases to ensure IT-business alignment and client expectations are well set Assists in determining project scope and feasibility Provides initial project effort estimate Acts as "subject matter expert" in project management methodology and provide process improvement suggestions Performs testing and documentation of new system features To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 3+ years of working experience in a professional environment 1+ years of project management or customer implementation experiencepreferred Excellent oral and written communications skills with both technical and non-technical information Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem solving skill Excellent written and oral presentation skills Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency expected Must be resourceful, self-motivated, and able to be successful in a professional team-based environment Proven ability to work well with users at all levels, both within the organization and the client community Demonstrated ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and complete tasks on time within a fast paced environment "Can do" attitude in approaching challenges.  Excellent interpersonal, customer service and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely. Demonstrates the ability to effectively apply skills to improve project performance B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience Preferred qualifications: Minimum of 12 months interface implementation, with some AmeriPath/DermPath experience Broad understanding of the laboratory business and its service requirements req16425

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
