Safety and quality are a priority at Prime Jet and part of everyday operations.
Prime Jet Cabin Hosts are responsible for:
the safety and comfort of Guests aboard the aircraft while providing legendary customer service; providing Guests with information pre-flight, during flight, and after landing; assisting guests by answering any questions; aiding Guests with their carry-on luggage and providing snacks, beverages, and catering when requested; checking emergency equipment, demonstrate safety functions of the aircraft and use of all emergency equipment and; maintaining compliance with all FARS, SOP's, company policies, and procedures.
Skills & Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old, with a valid passport.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive a motor vehicle.
Must have prior service experience (bartending, waitressing, hosting) and a background in Customer Service.
1-year Cabin Host experience preferred, but not required.
International work or travel experience preferred, but not required.
Must be willing to work long hours including weekends and some holidays.
Must be flexible with the work schedule.
Must be able to work with many different personalities.
Possess strong organizational skills including problem solving and the ability to handle difficult situations.
Preferred that candidates live within 1 hour of their assigned base Teterboro KTEB Must be able to sit in jump-seat without modifications.
Must have a Corporate Cabin Host safety training certificate from FACTS, HRD, Flight Safety, or CAPS.
Possess current CPR certification.
Computer experience including Word, Excel, and other applications.
Duties include:
Supports, promotes, and complies with the goals and objectives of Prime Jet's Safety Management System.
This includes identifying and reporting safety hazards and issues.
Communicate with Operations, Director of Inflight, Lead Cabin Host, and crew members in a timely manner.
Present and conduct yourself in a well-groomed, professional manner, always while representing Prime Jet.
Provide all passenger catering and special requests in the most cost-effective manner.
Arrange crew meals and attend to flight deck crew throughout the flight.
Provide exemplary service to passengers throughout the duration of the flight.
Maintain a clean, organized, well stocked aircraft.
Continuously clean and tidy the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory to maintain a professional appearance.
Restock aircraft post flight to ensure it is charter ready.
Ensure the aircraft is thoroughly cleaned, wiped down and vacuumed before exiting, and after each leg.
Ensure all stock and perishable items are current by rotating stock and removing all expired items.
Adhere to all Prime Jet policies, procedures, guidelines, and Fundamentals.
Retain neat orderly itemized receipts for invoicing, billing, and managing Concur expense reports.
Ensure required paperwork submitted on time, including Catering cover sheet, and receipts within 24 hours of finishing a trip, in a neat, accurate and orderly manner.
Communicate with teammates by using the SOP's provided to ensure smooth transitions from aircraft to aircraft.
Utilize time management to complete all necessary tasks in an efficient manner.
Report to PIC/pilots any cabin issues/discrepancies, passenger problems, and anything you feel is not up to Prime Jet standards.
Maintain an open line of communication with your fellow crew members.
Upon landing, assist passengers when deplaning, ensure all passenger items are removed from the aircraft.
Ensure passengers comply with federal regulations during flight.
Operate audio and video systems.
Direct and assist passengers in an emergency.
Administer basic First Aid to passengers in distress i.
e.
:
CPR, AED, First Aid.
Other Duties:
Assist with base stockrooms when in between trips, time permitting.
Assist with inventories on aircraft fleet.
Assist with deep cleaning and organization of aircraft fleet.
Assist with safely off-loading and on-loading all aircraft items when aircraft is being weighed by maintenance.
Attend scheduled training courses offered by the company.
Participate in quarterly meetings, and any other mandatory meetings.
Make suggestions for new equipment, tools and ideas that will help set Prime Jet apart from competitors.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here must be met by the Cabin Host to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the Cabin Host is required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or reach.
The Cabin Host is occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel, crouch or crawl, and must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
